The latest Express Entry draw for Canada was executed on October 21, 2024, choosing applications under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) issuing 648 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) with  (CRS), a Comprehensive Ranking System cut-off score of 791.

This higher CRS score is due to the extra 600 points that provincial nominees receive, giving them a strong advantage in the draw.

This draw is part of a more comprehensive trend in October with various category-specific draws conducted to address labour shortages in key sectors.

For instance, previous draws this month - a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on October 9, 2024, and a French-language draw on October 10,  had a lower cut-off score of 539 and 444 respectively.

These specialised draws help Canada focus on key sectors like healthcare, trades, and STEM while encouraging applicants with French proficiency.

The growing number of draws shows Canada’s immigration and economic goals alignment. More draws are anticipated before the end of this month.
