Express Entry Draw 353 On June 26, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the 353rd Express Entry draw, exclusively targeting candidates under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) stream. A total of 3,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued in this draw.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to receive an ITA was 521. As per IRCC’s tie-breaking rule, candidates with a CRS score of 521 were only considered if they had submitted their Express Entry profiles before November 21, 2024, at 15:56:13 UTC.
The CEC category is designed for skilled workers who already have Canadian work experience, making it easier for them to transition to permanent residency. This class is essential for international graduates and professionals who have worked in Canada for at least one year in a skilled role.
IRCC continues to prioritize CEC candidates as they are already integrated into Canada’s labor market and society. These candidates often have Canadian education, local job experience, and strong language skills, making them ideal permanent residents.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) evaluates candidates based on age, education, language proficiency, Canadian and foreign work experience, and other adaptability factors. Those with the highest scores are invited first.
The tie-breaking rule is used when multiple candidates have the same lowest qualifying CRS score. In this draw, only those who submitted their profiles before November 21, 2024, at 15:56:13 UTC were eligible among those scoring 521.
Following this draw, more category-based selections are expected in the coming weeks. Priority categories in 2025 include:
