In a recent update to Canada's immigration process, a new round of invitations was issued under the Express Entry system on November 12, 2024.
This round targeted candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), with a total of 733 invitations sent to applicants in this category.
The draw had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement of 812, meaning only candidates meeting or exceeding this score were eligible for an invitation.
Notably, in the case of a score tie, the deciding factor was based on the earliest profile submission time, with the tie-breaking rule set for profiles submitted on or before March 2, 2024, at 01:58:34 UTC.
The Express Entry system remains a key pathway for skilled individuals aiming to achieve permanent residency in Canada, and rounds such as this highlight the government’s continued focus on selecting candidates who bring specific skills and experience sought by provinces across the country.
